Dr. Yinka has devoted her practice to the art and science of Regenerative Medicine with its applications in musculoskeletal conditions and aesthetics. She combines that expertise with the latest and best anti-aging and aesthetic technologies available. She started RegenMD MedSpa because she recognized that many patients do not desire cosmetic surgery or invasive procedures, yet still want to look and feel good.
Andrea was raised in Toledo, Ohio, and moved to Houston, Texas with her family at age 13. She went on to go to college at Baylor University in Waco, Texas where she obtained her Bachelors in Science of Nursing. After graduating and becoming a Registered Nurse (RN), she took her first nursing job as an emergency room nurse at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. Over the next 6 years, she also worked as a trauma ER travel nurse and visited Trauma Centers all over the United States. In 2008 she graduated with her Masters in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas. Soon after she sat for the Nurse Practitioner Board exam and became certified in family medicine.
Her first job after graduating from Nurse Practitioner school was working with the indigent population in Dallas, Texas. She then went and worked with a large Internal Medicine Group at Presbyterian Hospital of Plano years later. She learned a great deal about the causes of acute and chronic diseases and how to diagnose and treat them. After that, she took a position with a spine surgeon and helped patients in acute and chronic pain for over 6 years as well as assisted in the Operating Room for complex spine surgery cases. This is when she realized she enjoyed helping patients find a pain free life. Andrea takes a holistic approach in treating her patients. She likes to look at all aspects that could affect a patient’s health which includes their mental and physical well-being.
She now joins us here at the Center specializing in diagnosing and treating acute and chronic pain patients. She has over 17 years of experience and performs multiple procedures such as trigger point injections, joint injections, nerve blocks, and even is certified as a Botox Injector. She is now taking new patient appointments
